Two short years ago, royalties were NOT so solid & beloved as they ARE today. In fact, few platforms offered them at all, & SuperRare had dropped them from 10% to 3% with barely a whisper. We came together in a Discord I created, where after much discussion and debate, we settled on asking artists, collectors, and platforms to join together as allies in solving the historic problem of artists not participating in their own success.https://t.co/SQfsbX7C7t

Together, we wrote & signed a letter. @blackboxdotart was our delegate to send and communicate with platforms on our behalf. There was no better of us than Sparrow to accomplish this. We asked for a minimum 10% industry standard for artists.

In less than a month, we reached agreement with most all of the platforms. @conlan of @AsyncArt was the first to join, increasing royalties from 5% to 10% almost immediately. @SuperRare secured a vote among the community to increase from 3% to 10% and the rest joined. 💗 pic.twitter.com/NWfMyWOl6n
